      What this is — and isn't. Only places where an OpenStreetMap mapper recorded an old_name. It is a sample of the city's memory, not an inventory: Istanbul has thousands of renamed streets and villages that nobody has tagged yet. Kinds are read from the names and tags; dates and stories appear only where a source is linked.
